The Sephardic singer Mor Karbasi and her guitarist Joe Taylor talked to t5m about where their music comes from and the how they got together. After hearing Taylor play while on holiday in Egypt, Karbasi was taken with his skills. They soon after started to play Sephardic music together, which is “based on a long history of the Jewish people who had to leave Spain.”
