If you are thinking of getting a green christmas tree with decorations in rainbow colours or bring out the good old one from your home cellar, forget it - it’s an old fashion and is too traditional. Having a perfect Christmas tree at home is an excellent way of lifting up the atmosphere and receive compliments of jealousy from those who come round for your home parties. So let’s get some new inspirations for your fashionable Christmas tree!

To have a Christmas tree of your very own with a trendy edge try decorate it with purple and grey decorations - the very two colours that have hit the fashion industry this year! If purple is an odd colour to go with the overall atmosphere of your home then buy a few purple or grey candles and stand them on shelves. Also, if purple and grey are really not your style of colours  go instead for combinations of white, cream, beige and brown - these are also trendy colours that won’t fail you for the big occasion this year!

If, and I repeat ‘if’, the normal Christmas trees that you can find from local flower shops or stores seem boring to you and you wish for a warmer, or even hot, winter then simply bring in the tropical islands to indoors! This sounds crazy but it is possible for you have a palm Christmas tree! Decorate it with yellow, orange and blue to bring out the Hawaiian feeling to your home and may be have a glass of cocktail each instead of mulled wine to enjoy a funky Christmas!
