With Anzac cookies wider than your mouth, and coffee that actually tastes half-way decent, Sacred Cafe in London is the new hotspot for Kiwis and alike to take a mini trip back home – if only for a half-hour.  With five locations throughout London, namely in the new Westfield Shopping Centre and just off Carnaby Street, the ability to sit within a comfortable atmosphere and wind down to sounds like Fat Freddy’s Drop is never too far away.  The menu is splattered with Kiwi influences such as Lolly Cake, Lamb and Mint Panini’s, L&P, Bundaberg Ginger Beer (although Australian) and delicious savoury muffins.  But overall the coffee is the key draw card with roasts that will have you dreaming of sitting back in Cuba Street, even Ponsonby, sipping on a delicious cappuccino or latte.

The Carnaby Street location can he quite busy, with the chance of finding one of the small cushioned seats to pull up outside, especially when the sky looks remotely blue, proving somewhat tricky.  However, it is worth scurrying like a Possum to get the next available seat to be able to experience and embrace the Kiwi ambience.
