Indie band the Hoosiers discuss their favourite gigs and performances.

The Hoosiers musical tastes are obviously fans not just of the music, but the performance and atmosphere at the gigs they attend. The Radiohead concert at Earls Court Exhibition Centre was described as “inspiring” by drummer Alphonso Sharland, and lead singer Irwin Sparkes said the performance “just blew me away.” The duo were full of praise for Radiohead, which they described as “one of the best bands ever”, and Thom Yorke as “one of the best vocalists” of their generation.

They were also enthusiastic about a Sufjan Stevens concert, saying “it was just beautiful” and in contrast to the Radiohead show, they enjoyed the “intimacy.” Sparkes even went so far as to call it “mindblowing.”
