The Classical BRIT Awards 2008 at the Royal Albert Hall was a star-studded celebration of classical music in all of its many wonderful forms. t5m was there to talk to the winners, nominees and performers about the highlights of their musical year, their musical inspirations and heroes – and we got some intriguing answers. You don’t hear Eminem and Pavarotti mentioned in the same sentence often which goes to show the range and diversity of attendees.

We got everyone to sign a beautiful Karl Hofner violin, made out of cedar, maple and ebony. This violin is now a unique piece of musical history with signatures from Josh Groban, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Colin Davis and 15 of the other winners, performers and nominees.

Register on the competition page for a chance to win the violin.
