Essentially cinema and music is about drama and theatricality not much unlike fashion, its collaborations should applauded, not just seen as commercial value.
t5m was extremely privileged to sit down with the legend that is Jose Carreras on the evening he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at The Classical BRIT awards. The tenor told our reporter that it felt great to be back in London because his British audience has always been so loyal. On gaining such prestigious recognition for his work, Carreras could only describe it using the Spanish term ‘like a boy with new shoes’, and said he was very pleased that his close friend Placido Domingo was also at the award ceremony on his special night.
