Lulu talks about her love of the Brit Awards and her anticipation of the performances, telling us “I’m excited!”

The Scottish Eurovision Song Contest champion is a keen supporter of the Brit Trust and enthusiastic about the good the Awards can do. “It’s the biggest piece of publicity you get to give awareness to this cause.”

Lulu is also an avid fan of British music being released. When asked to choose her favourite song of 2007, she couldn’t choose, saying “don’t ask me one song, so many songs.” She was very excited to have the chance to watch great acts such as Mark Ronson, Kylie Minogue, Rihanna and Amy Winehouse, who she named as just some of the performers she was looking forward to.

The star was classically dressed, wearing what she described as “very old” (a modest term for vintage) earrings from the Chanel No. 5 collection. With characteristic enthusiasm, the singer said “it’s going to be just a fantastic show!”
