Essentially cinema and music is about drama and theatricality not much unlike fashion, its collaborations should applauded, not just seen as commercial value.
Lionel Richie hit the UK last night to present the award for best international female to Katy Perry.

Lionel also has an album out on March 16th that features talent like Ne-Yo and Akon. ‘I said OK you’re Lionel Richie 2009 – what does he sound like? And I let them write the song. That’s what album’s about.’
Sounds like a bit of a get-out clause to us!
