Blunt words
Channel: The Brits
James Blunt talks about his current work and world tour. Of his ambitions, he says “I’m hoping to do a duet next year with Jimi Hendrix,” but admits “we might not pull that one off!”
Blunt was relaxed on the red carpet, talking about his current work. “I’m on tour at the moment ‘round the world” said the singer. Because of his hectic performance schedule, he says, “it’s really nice to have a night off, hear some other great musicians play, and I’ll see them at the bar afterwards.”
James Blunt really has been working himself hard, and has had a hectic concert schedule. “I got in this afternoon from Milan and I’m off back to the States to perform there for the next month.”
Despite his well known love of touring, James Blunt hasn’t sidelined studio work, and Blunt told t5m that he had recently completed a collaboration on the song Je Réalise “with a French rapper called Sinik.”
Blunt wasn’t sure about the designer of his suit, but as he says “I’m not really into style, but I can do the music.” Blunt says that for most performers doing live gigs is not really a daunting prospect. “We’ve all been doing this for a little while, so getting up there and playing on stage is something i feel really comfortable with.”
