Director of Nowhere Boy Sam Taylor Wood and the film’s star Aaron Johnson were the gilded couple at this year’s BIFAs, with Aaron nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a British Film, while Sam was nominated for the Douglas Hickox award and Nowhere Boy was up for Best British Independent Film and Best Screenplay.
