London was awash last night with celebrities par excellence at this years Q awards. The red carpet was bubbling over with many celebrities sporting new looks, we hardly recognised them! At t5m we are loving Lily Allen’s elegant transformation. She was rocking a cream frock, leather leggings, and dangerously looking heels (jealous!). Not only was she looking great, she also won the Best Track award for ‘The Fear’. Kate Nash was working her cute bobbed hair and her trademark bangs. As ever, Fearne Cotton was looking stylish in leopard print ankle boots (grrr) and a mini black and white dress.
Amy Winehouse made an entrance with her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield, Amy looking perkier than usual (!)
The show was presented by Al Murray who dished out awards to the likes of Lady Gaga who won best video for ‘Just Dance’. Mr Hudson won breakthrough artist and humbly accepted his award:
Wow, thanks. I’ve never won anything before, thanks alot. I’m going to take this straight round to my mum’s house and put it on the mantelpiece, thanks a lot
Other winners of the night included Kasabian for Best Album, Muse for the Best Act in the World, Spandeau Ballet for The Q Idol gong, White Lies for Best New Act, and the Arctic Monkeys for Best Live Act to name but a few.
