While at the Music Managers Forum we took the chance to find out what the people behind the music are listening to. We talked to everyone from Ron Fair, the Chairman of Geffen, to Jon Webster, the CEO of the MMF itself, and got answers showing a broad range of musical tastes.

Jazz Summers and Ron Fair listen to a lot of jazz (perhaps appropriately in the former’s case), Steve Purdham, CEO of We7, listens to everyone from Leona Lewis to The Hoosiers to David Bowie, while Sumit Bothra from Embargo Management likes his music on the cutting edge with mentions for Toyko Police Club, Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend and TV on the Radio.

Jon Webster, on the other hand, is fanatical about Bruce Springsteen, so fanatical in fact that when he sees him 3 nights in a row at the Emirates Stadium in Cardiff it will be his 59th, 60th, and 61st times! That’s the kind of passion that keeps the music business going.
