I’ve just returned from a few days recording with the Fron Male Voice Choir for the fourth album. We got off to a pretty good start although it’s always a little tough doing new material with the guys. Being an amateur choir they don’t get that much rehearsal time so new learning new songs is a steep curve for them. Also, many of the men in the choir don’t read music and have to rely on hearing others to pick up the music. That’s fine but when the clock is ticking it’s an added pressure.
Still we fared reasonably well, getting about a third of the album done. I’ll be heading back in a couple of weeks to finish the record with them but in the meantime I have to work on mixing the Coldstream Guards Band album as well as make a start on arrangements for Faryl’s new record.
Right!…Back to my little dark room.

I am the director of a Gentlemen’s Chorus in Wolfville Nova Scotia, Canada. We are very interested in acquiring the music (particularly your arrangement) of a song entitled “Sailing” by Sutherland, which was the first cut on a CD VOICES OF THE VALLEY-The Fron Male Voice Choir.
Would you please send me information on how to get copies of this piece?
Thank you, N.Denton
