Rather than a noble profession, Jason Isaacs sees his work as “just pretending- that’s all.”

Isaacs takes the view that just because you aren’t trained for it, doesn’t mean you aren’t acting. “Acting is just lying” says the Harry Potter star, “very few people go through the day without lying.” In his eyes, “everyone’s an actor.” He feels that the separation between everyday life and acting is overstated.

Isaacs is well known for his realistic acting style, where rather than trying to fabricate a character, the actor tries to be as natural as possible. In his eyes “there’s nobody who gets through the day without acting.”
