Richard Heayes of Hasbro, one of the largest toy makers in the world, explains the rules of Hollywood Domino to t5m. Once in a while, games fall out of date, and just need a little makeover to help them crop up again. Richard tell us that Hollywood Domino gives a modern twist to what always a great game.
The object of the game is to get rid of all your dominos first. Each domino represents a scene in your movie and playing all your tiles is like finishing your movie. In an eight player game, each player gets nine scenes to play, and the first to play them all is the winner.
He says that Hollywood Domino does exactly what a good game should, “Take you away from your day-to-day humdrum, and just for that little moment, with that little bit of magic, you think, ‘Yeah, I could be a movie director, or could be a Hollywood star.”
