Claudia Schiffer is the latest fashion figure to agree to star in a documentary all about her life. We get to peek at life behind the clothes and red carpets.

‘Claudia Schiffer La Dolce Vita’ is the film made for website Fashionair, which was granted access to archive Chanel footage and stills for the film. Charting Schiffer’s rise from being spotted in a nightclub aged 17 to meeting Karl Lagerfeld, the film gives a great insight into one of the world’s first supermodels.

The Minogue's at the Elle Style Awards

Last night saw the Elle Style Awards take place in London. It’s always a great event bringing together fashionsita’s and red carpet stars.

This year Naomi Campbell, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Agyness Deyn were joined by the Monogue sisters, Bafta winner Carey Mulligan and Leona Lewis.

There were some great outfits- Naomi Campbell wore a dress by the late Alexander McQueen, and Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who last year won the magazine’s award for best model, stood out from the crowd in a sexy full-length red Christian Dior dress. But my favourite of the night was mum-to-be Danni Minogue. She looked glowing in a yellow grecian style dress by Australian designer Lisa Ho.

The Elle Style Awards 2010 Winners:

Outstanding Contribution Award: Naomi Campbell

Best TV Star: Danni Minogue

Style Woman of the Year Award: Kristen Stewart

Editors Choice: Alexa Chung

Model of the Year: Claudia Schiffer

Best Actor: Colin Firth

Best Actress: Carey Mulligan

Best Music: Florence & The Machine

Breakthrough Talent: Nicholas Hoult

Style Icons of 2010 Award: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Carey Mulligan who won "best actress" at last nights BAFTA's

Last night thousands of fans went to Covent Garden to catch a glimpse of A-Listers shivering on the red carpet in the cold weather as they arrived for the biggest event in the British film calendar- The Bafta’s.

Obviously my main interest was with the dresses! I have to say though I wasn’t blown away. I have two that are top of my list. Firstly Carey Mulligan, who was nominated for best actress (and won) for her lead role in coming-of-age film An Education. She wore a gorgeous floor-length monochrome floral black and white Vionnet gown with a dramatic train. She dyed her brunette crop blonde and kept accessories minimal with a pair of simple diamond earrings. What do you think of her look?

Last night Somerset House kicked London Fashion Week off with a bang as it played host to the Fashion for Relief Haiti show.

Kate Moss hit the catwalk the first time in several years, in a McQueen dress that Philip Green would later buy at auction for £100,000. Naomi Campbell pranced down the runway on the arm of Piers Morgan, finally saying goodbye to their tabloid battle.

Yasmin and Amber le Bon walked the catwalk together; Ronnie Corbett danced to Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean and The Saturdays appeared all together wearing Ungaro and Moschino.

All in all it was a magnificent start to London Fashion Week.

I loved Sonia Rykiel’s lingerie collection for H&M last autumn and now the Parisian designer has worked her knitwear magic for the high street giant.

Knitwear is what Rykiel does best, and this capsule collection does not disappoint. It’s bursting with sweater dresses, knitted bejewelled leggings, diamante-studded berets and bracelets in bright, eye-catching stripes and block colours such as canary yellow, mustard, red, orange and lots of pink.

It’s also the first time a guest designer collaboration includes children. Little girls aged 18 months to 8 years can get into the spirit of Sonia Rykiel with multi-striped tights, colourful sweaters and sweatshirts bearing the stamp of the ‘Reine du Tricot’ (Queen of Knits).

The collection hits stores Saturday 20th February.
