Art to feel at home with

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Art London offers everyone the chance to enjoy and buy contemporary and modern art. With work ranging from the very abstract to the more traditional there’s something to suit a range of tastes, and a range of budgets.

We went down to the private view to quaff a few glasses of bubbly, talk to the punters and get the inside information from the gallerists. With the art market seeming to remain bouyant in a sinking investment landscape, we wanted to know how art investments can best be enjoyed at home.

Whether a piece provides a striking contrast to an interior, or compliments a colour scheme, art always makes an impact on a room. On Friday we’ll be walking around the fair with award-winning interior designer Tara Bernerd, who’ll be giving us her top tips on buying art for the home. Tara will also be picking the best works and advising on how to hang them.

Last night we caught up with artist Anne Magill, Classical BRIT winners Blake and national treasure Christopher Biggins. The fair is running until Monday, so find out how to buy tickets here and go down to find some art that you can really feel at home with.
