ABOUT ALICE TEMPERLEY

Alice Temperley grew up in Somerset on a cider farm before studying at the Royal College of Art and Central St Martins. She set up Temperley London with her husband, Lars Von Bennigsen in 2000 and is famed for her attention to detail, feminine shapes and rich, delicate fabrics.

Celebrity fans include Halle Berry, Naomi Campbell and Keira Knightley - and she has been awarded as the English Print Designer of the Year (1999) as well as Elle Magazine’s Best Young Designer of the Year Awar in 2004. In 2006, Alice was named as one of Britain’s top 35 business leaders in 2006.

She hosted her fashion show in Notting Hill in 2003, and in 2005 moved her shows to New York. For her A/W 2009/2010 show, Alice hosted a two day presentation simultaneous with an online multimedia video launch, rather than a catwalk show.
